HISTORY
Receive the Boost! Relationships Conference emerged from a quarterly marriage seminar organized by Divine Visitation
International Ministries to deal specifically with the essential aspects of marriage and home which has long been neglected to the
detriment of the marriage institution and society. As participants started reaping huge benefits of the seminar in their marriages,
demands flooded the ministry for upgrading the seminar to conference. Following this, it was expanded in concept and scope to
include the single, married, divorced and remarried, whereby the first edition of Receive the Boost Annual Relationships
Conference was held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel,Marietta, Georgia.
The conference recorded testimonies of multitude hurting souls that were reached and their situations positively changed, broken
hearts that were mended, ailing relationships that were healed etc. A couple who divorced after 17 years of marriage received
Christian advice, remarried and wedded at the conference. Two other couples were joined in holy wedlock (fresh weddings).
There was renewal and reaffirmation of marriage vows.

The conference focuses on the need for such ones having their eyes opened to see and take cognizance of the errors which led
to their unsuccessful marital relationship. They are encouraged to free themselves from the feeling of guilt, bitterness, failure,
rejection, unforgiveness, self-pity and broken heartedness and thereafter make room for new relationship, if so desired.
MARRIED AGAIN: Those who have taken the bold step to remarry after a divorce are helped to deal with the bitter
memories, failed relationships, and most of all to let go of every hurting feeling and not to allow the mistakes of the past to crop
up in the present marriage. They are exposed to powerful teachings that will rekindle their love-life fire so they can enjoy (and
not endure) marriage.
SINGLE: The unmarried are taught how to maximize their singlehood, and keep their “fire” under control. They are taught and
encouraged to live a sanctified “hip” and “cool” life without hypocrisy, building themselves up spiritually, socially, financial,
etcetera. They are taught the essence of waiting on the Lord for the right partner and making sure they are emotionally ready
for marriage.
